MEPS

Before leaving for basic training, you will have to go to MEPs again for one more physical. You will be offered transport to the MEPS by your recruiter, as it is quite far away. The physical at MEPs will be a long process which will take most of the day to finish. You should eat a heavy breakfast to last you through the day.

MOS

Once your work at MEPS is over, it will be time to get your MOS. An ASVAB counselor will guide you in your selection of MOS. You should inform the counselor about the job you are interested in. It will be more beneficial if you have researched and found the appropriate job in the army for yourself. After you have selected your MOS, you will receive some papers with an outline of MOS as well as your enlistment options.
